In case you missed the news this morning, Gotham is making yet another change to Poison Ivy’s character. When she returns in early 2018, after going through some dangerous new changes, Peyton List will replace Maggie Geha in the role.

This is the second time Ivy has been recast, as Geha replaced Clare Foley following the decision to age up the character.
As you can imagine, this was a controversial announcement amongst fans. Not only were many disappointed to see the role recast for a second time, but they also have come to appreciate the work Geha put into the character.
Following the news, the Gotham faithful took to Twitter and made their feelings known.

The decision to give Ivy a new look was all about the story, but many fans were still left wondering why Maggie Geha couldn’t stay in the role.

What’s Happening??
Some fans couldn’t care less who was playing Poison Ivy, but they still voiced frustration in the fact that the show is now on its third actress in the role of the same character.
ANOTHER Ivy?! The Gotham City Sirens so far sees Selina as a teen, Ivy as an adult and Harley Quinn nonexistent. Come on Gotham!
