In just one week, Gotham will return from its long hiatus with a brand new story arc. ‘How the Riddler Got His Name’ begins the Heroes Rise story arc, and FOX has just released the full trailer for the upcoming episode.

The new trailer teases some epic action in the coming episodes, as numerous villains are looking to take over Gotham. Almost every villain from the series was depicted in the new footage, and it looks like some classic characters are set to appear.
This new story also depicts the rise of Bruce Wayne as Batman, as he heads out to train with Ra’s al Ghul.

Nygma convinces himself that he doesn’t need Penguin to succeed and begins to introduce himself to Gotham as “The Riddler.” Bullock and Lucius Fox get caught up in Nygma’s mind games, while Gordon learns troubling news about his father’s death. Meanwhile, the Court of the Owls reveals its next move.

The guest cast includes James Remar as Frank Gordon and H. Foley as Winston Peters.
The spring premiere of Gotham, which is titled “Heroes Rise: How the Riddler Got His Name,” will air Monday, April 24 at 8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT on FOX.
