Since Gotham aired its first episode in 2014, the series has been known for one thing – villains.

Bruce Wayne is still young, so Batman isn’t really around, but the show has made up for that by really developing the dark underbelly of Gotham. The series is spending plenty of time making the villains seem dangerous, so that the world is already built when Bruce finally takes on his mantle.

Over the past couple of years, Gotham has introduced a ton of classic Batman villains. Each and every character that comes around, makes the city feel more and more like the one comic fans have always been used to.

Even though old-school foes like Penguin, Mr. Freeze, The Riddler, Joker, and many more have made appearances, there are still plenty of villains that could appear on the show.

Here are a few of these classic villains that we’d love to see added to Gotham in season four, and beyond.

Harley Quinn

The producers on Gotham have teased that Harley will be appearing, and there have even been rumors swirling around that she could make her grand debut before the third season is out.ย

This would be awesome if it was true, as Harley has had such a big impact on both Batman, and Joker.

Some believe that Barbara will become Harley, as she’s been acting completely crazy as of late. However, this wouldn’t make a ton of sense in terms of her relationship with the Joker. Barbara is much older than Jerome, so her infatuation with him would be a bit odd.

Two-Face

Two-Face is another character that has been teased on Gotham, but who has never come to life. In season one, fans were introduced to Harvey Dent.

At the end of his arc, he wasn’t able to be reached by anyone at GCPD, and it seemed like the real Two-Face was on his way.

No one has seen Dent since then though, and there’s no telling when he could appear again.

As season four begins, this could be a great side-story for Gordon and the GCPD.ย

Hush

Tommy Elliot was seen in one of the very early Gotham episodes, but he quickly went away.ย

In the comics, Tommy and Bruce were the best of friends. As Tommy became an adult however, he decided to take his pain out on Bruce. This story is told in the ever-popular Hush comics.

It would be great to see Tommy and Bruce get close in the near future, so that Hush can flourish as a villain in the later seasons.

Onomatopoeia

Big thank you to Kevin Smith for creating this awesome bad guy. While Onomatopoeia was initially a villain for Green Arrow, he made his mark in the Smith/Flanagan run of Batman as well.

The villain worked with the Joker, he infiltrated Batman’s psyche, and he found a way to kill the woman he truly loved.

This guy is a master of manipulation, and he would be a great addition to Gotham. Who knows, maybe he’s already around.

Talia al Ghul

Much like Selinaย Kyle, Taliaย al Ghul isn’t always a villain. She has her negative aspects, but it’s the damage she does to Bruce that matters most.

Again, like Selina, Taliaย does a number on Bruce’s heart on many occasions. She uses love and lust to influence his decisions, and that often leads the guy down a dark path.

With Selinaย wanting nothing to do with Bruce, and Ra’s al Ghulย set to appear this season, let Taliaย come in and give Bruce another love interest.
