No new DCEU film is more anticipated than Justice League, and the cast and filmmakers have been paving the way to SDCC17 with some nice reveals and teases!

Today, we have a new look at one of Justice League‘s lesser-known members (at least with mainstream audiences): Cyborg. In a new Twitter post, Justice League star Ray Fisher offered fans a new look at his half-man, half-machine character, via the Cyborg action figure that will be part of Justice League‘s tie-in toy line.

In the DC Extended Universe, Cyborg was created when scientist Dr. Silas Stone (Joe Morton) merged one of the otherwordly Mother Boxes with his dying son, Victor, creating the being we will come to know as Cyborg.

Fans have been somewhat divided over Cyborg’s DCEU design, with some criticisms pointing to the character looking like a Transformer from one of Michael Bay’s films. As always, the real test will be seeing how Fisher’s Cyborg plays in full motion onscreen – instead of judging from still images and short clips in trailers.

For toy collectors – this action figure looks like a good grab, so keep an eye out!

The Cyborg solo movie will be in theaters on April 3 2020
