Spoilers obviously coming for Justice League, so you’ve been warned.
The latest comes in the form of a promotional photo of Steppenwolf’s main action figure (via Reddit). Shots leaked not too long ago of a two pack, but this one reveals the full image with helmet and weapon included. He bears a bit of resemblance to Wonder Woman’s Ares, though he opts for an ax as opposed to a sword.
You can find the picture below.
Steppenwolf will be played by actor Ciaran Hinds, who never had the chance to see a costume since it was created in its entirety by CGI.
“…I didn’t even have a costume when I was doing it [Justice League]. It’s all done in motion capture. Soโฆ they stick a helmet on your head, they put two cameras around, and they capture all your expressions, facial expressions. So basically, they’re going to concoct some kind of construction and they will use my facial expressions โ eyes, mouth, voice โ they’ll turn into this murderous, avenging Steppenwolf from the planet Apokolips, apparently. Who’s bent on Hell on Earth.”
