‘Justice League’: Ezra Miller Compares His Flash To A Hardcore Fanboy

Barry Allen/The Flash might prove to be a crucial part of Justice League, but the character will apparently feel starstruck about the whole ordeal.

Ezra Miller, who brings the character to life in the DC Extended Universe film, recently spoke about that in an interview with Total Film Magazine. Miller provided a creative analogy of how Barry feels about joining the team.

“He’s [like] the 13-year-old Metallica fan,” Miller explained, “and Metallica says, ‘We lost our drummer in a freak accident. We need you to play drums, bro!’ [And he’s like] ‘I don’t even have drumsticks!’”

Fans have already gotten an inkling of this in Justice League‘s promotional material, with Barry very eager to join the team after learning that Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) is the Batman. They’ve also gotten a hint at Barry’s insecurities, with him proclaiming that he doesn’t quite know how to battle yet.

Nevertheless, it seems like Barry will prove his worth over the course of the film, with his incredibly fast powers a huge asset for the team.
