Powerless: See Alan Tudyk Suit Up As Robin

A member of the Wayne family will don the Robin costume next week on Powerless, but it won’t be Damian.

In new photos released to Entertainment Weekly, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story actor Alan Tudyk, who plays Vanderveer Wayne in the NBC comedy, suits up as his cousin’s son/sidekick (although he doesn’t realize the family connection, we assume).

The suit will come in an episode where Vanessa Hudgens’s Emily falls for one of The Riddler’s henchmen — although in her defense, the henchman in question is played by iZombie star Robert Buckley, who looks like he was built in a lab.

With a new product idea greenlit, Emily (Vanessa Hudgens) tries to get her team inspired but can’t seem to break through their obsession with Fantasy Super Hero League. Meanwhile, Van (Alan Tudyk) is on a mission to be included in the Wayne Dream Team photo. Danny Pudi, Christina Kirk and Ron Funches also star. Jennie Pierson recurs.

Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, Len Goldstein, Marc Buckland and Dean Lorey are executive producers of Powerless. Buckland served as the director of the pilot. The series is produced by Warner Bros. Television and is based on the characters from DC.

Powerless airs Thursday nights at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
