Sadly, Halloween has come to an end. The day's spooky festivities have wrapped for most, but that does not mean we can't look back to the good times. Just ask Kevin Smith; He'll tell you the same. After all, the filmmaker did just uploaded an appropriate throwback photo of his Halloween antics last night.

Good luck finding him in the photo though. The image sees Smith surrounded by a hoard of lookalikes.

The director posted his festive photo to Facebook to bid farewell to Halloween. The picture shows Smith and the crew of The CW's Supergirl posing for the photo while all dressed as either Jay, Silent Bob, or Smith himself.

"A bunch of the crew from @supergirlcw dressed up like @jayandsilentbob or @thatkevinsmith for #halloween2016 today," Smith wrote. "So we marked the occasion by taking a group shot on the stage's giant green screen! I warned the group a green screen background meant we'd probably have dicks photoshopped in our faces, however truly creative folks can put us in any number of places."

If you aren't familiar with Jay and Silent Bob, then you should know the characters are part of Smith's on-going cinematic universe. The duo have appeared in many of Smith's films as they deal low-grade drugs or sell illegal fireworks. Silent Bob is played by Smith while Jason Mewes portrays Jay. Clerks marked their first appearance on-screen, and Smith brought back the characters in Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and more.

As the characters do have a rather iconic appearance, the Supergirl cast was able to dress up as the stoned duo for a funny photoshoot. Others elected to dress like Smith as the director is also known for his fashion taste. The filmmaker famously wears hockey jerseys, baseball caps, and jean shorts to most functions - so several brave men also donned Smith's get-up.

Obviously, Smith wasn't the only celebrity to have a bit of fun last night. Halloween brings out the best (or worst) in Hollywood, and several famous faces showed off their elaborate costumes to fans. For instance, Taylor Swift borrowed Ryan Reynold's actual Deadpool costume and wore the red-and-black suit to a party.

Arrow's Emily Bett Rickards was also spotted in a Neo ensemble from The Matrix. However, her former co-star stole everyone's attention with his sultry outfit. Colton Haynes continued his over-the-top Halloween antics and dressed up as a hyperrealistic, NSFW version of Miss Piggy from The Muppets. Even Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson got in on the action when he dressed up as Pikachu to surprise his daughter.

So, what do you guys think about Smith's costume suprise? Did any of you dress up as one of the director's creations?
