Teen Titans: The Judas Contract Trailer Released

Warner Bros. Animation has released the trailer for the next DC Comics animated feature film, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract.

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract was one of the very first ideas that Warner Bros. Animation had in mind when they began adapting DC Comics stories into animated features. Unfortunately, there some trepidation about whether a story that doesn’t involve Batman, Superman or the Justice League would be able to carry itself commercially.

Now, with the benefit of an animated feature shared universe behind it, the Teen Titans: The Judas Contract can be made a reality. After being introduced in the Justice League Vs. Teen Titans animated feature, this version of the Teen Titans will recreate the team’s definitive and most iconic storyline, involving Deathstroke, Brother Blood, and a heartbreaking betrayal.

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract is directed by Jay Oliva from a screenplay by Ernie Altbacker and J. M. DeMatteis, based on the original Teen Titans story by writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Perez. Teen Titans: The Judas Contract features the voices of Christina Ricci as Terra, Taissa Farmiga as Raven, Miguel Ferrer as Deathstroke, Stuart Allan as Robin, Brandon Soo Hoo as Beast Boy, Jake T. Austin as Blue Beetle, Kari Wahlgren as Starfire, and Sean Maher as Nightwing.

Teen Titans: The Judas Contract is expected to release on Blu-ray and DVD in late 2017.
