In my past life I was a producer/editor at a national movie network, and a big part of my job was creating original 1 minute movie trailers for the network. Found a bunch of them in my old files recently, reminded me how much I loved the work, here’s one of my favourites, for The Dark Knight [01:00] from movies
The video is hailed as a “trailer,” but clearly it’s more of a featurette for Heath Ledger‘s Joker. Regardless, it’s well done and will fill fans with nostalgia as Ledger’s Joker remains one of the undisputed best parts of any Batman movie, ever.
Meanwhile, Ben Affleck’s Batman will return in Justice League this fall, though rumors persist that Affleck is looking for a way out of the role thereafter. Either way, the next Batman solo movie (The Batman) is currently in development with director Matt Reeves.
