Cisco Ramon is settling into his new Vibe identity, but he still needs a little help learning the ins and outs of his powers. It looks like The Flash will be bringing in someone to do just that for him later this season.
"There's gonna be a new visitor to our world named Gypsy. DC Comics fans will be familiar with Gypsy. She's gonna be coming into our world and Vibe will definitely get to learn some new skills as part of getting to know her."
Gypsy, who's real name is Cindy Reynolds was actually introduced in the same book that Vibe and Steel were (Justice League of America Annual #2), and all three were created by Gerry Conway and Chuck Patton. She was part of the Justice League during a time of transition, as the League was tasked with getting younger. Even though that didn't really pan out all three characters have managed to stick around in some form or another.
Gypsy is gifted with telepathic and illusion casting powers, allowing her to wreak havoc on the battlefield. She can camouflage herself and one other person if she needs to, and she can project nightmarish visions into the enemies mind.
No word on casting or when they plan on debuting her just yet. In the meantime you can read the official synopsis for the most recent episode "The Present" below:
BARRY SEEKS HELP FROM JAY GARRICK — With Alchemy and Savitar still looming threats, Barry (Grant Gustin) is unable to focus on the Christmas holiday, and especially his relationship with Iris (Candice Patton). Determined to stop Savitar, Barry goes to Earth-3 to get advice from Jay Garrick (guest star John Wesley Shipp). Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) wants to help Barry fight Savitar and reveals that he's been training with H.R. (Tom Cavanagh), which doesn't go over well with Barry. As Cisco (Carlos Valdes) faces his first Christmas without his brother Dante (guest star Nicholas Gonzalez), old wounds are reopened.
