In a surreal and funny Twitter interaction that started with one frequently-used Batman meme and ended with another, Kilmer and a fan whose name is apparently Michael Keaton (and who has the actor as his Twitter profile picture) had a minor disagreement over whether Kilmer or Keaton was the definitive Dark Knight.
Kilmer proposed a compromise:

…Which we think is actually a pretty fair (and hilarious) solution to the debate.
