Even the undead might of The Mummy proved no match for DC’s Amazon princess. Wonder Woman remains on top of the box office for the second weekend in a row.

Wonder Woman earned $16 million from 4,165 locations on Friday. The film is expected to earn $53 by the time the weekend is through, bringing its box office total to $200 million.

Universal Pictures’ Dark Universe is off to a rocky start. The Mummy, which is intended to be the monster movie universe’s equivalent of Iron Man or Man of Steel, brought in just $12 million from 4,035 locations on Friday, even with the star power of Tom Cruise. The film is expected to earn just over $30 million over its opening weekend.

Animated superhero movie Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie drops from second to third place in its second week at the box office. The film earned $3.5 million on Friday from 3,529 locations and is expected to bring in a total of $13 million over the weekend. The film’s total will stand at just over $44 million.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales sinks down to fourth place. The fifth Pirates of the Caribbean movie earned $3 million from 3,679 locations on Friday and is expected to earn $10.5 million over the weekend, bringing its domestic total to over $135 million.

Rounding out the top five this week is newcomer It Comes At Night. The latest horror movie from A24 earned $2.5 million on Friday alone. That’s more than its budget of $2.4 million. The film is expected to earn $6.5 million through the weekend.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 finally slips out of the box office top five, landing at the number six spot. Baywatch also slides out to number seven, and Alien: Covenant falls to number nine.

With her powers constantly evolving, Morton must now stop the resurrected monster as she embarks on a furious rampage through the streets of London.

The Mummy is directed by Alex Kurtzman and written by David Koepp, Christopher McQuarrie and Dylan Kussmanย fromย a story by Kurtzman, Jon Spaihts and Jenny Lumet. The film stars Tom Cruise, Annabelle Wallis, Sofia Boutella, Jake Johnson, Courtney B. Vance and Russell Crowe.

Johnny Depp, Kevin McNally, and Geoffrey Rush reprise their roles as Jack Sparrow, Joshamee Gibbs, and Hector Barbossa, respectively. New Pirates of the Caribbean stars include Javier Bardem as Armando Salazar, Brenton Thwaites as Henry Turner and Kaya Scodelario as Carina Smyth. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales also features the returns of Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley as Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann respectively after they both skipped Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
