Yamato USA has unveiled their latest DC Comics recreation, that being the Amazonian warrior herself Wonder Woman. As you can see, the statue is quite breathtaking, with lush hues of red, blue, and gold throughout the costume.
You also might notice an uncanny resemblance to Gomez, especially when coupled with the long black hair. The statue was sculpted by several talented individuals, including Shin Tanabe and Shungo Yazawa, all based on the art of fantasy artist Luis Royo. Only they know for sure if she was an inspiration, but it certainly appears that way.
Granted, that’s not a bad thing at all. If you want Yamato’s latest in your collection, you can expect it to ship sometime in August or September of this year, and it will retail for $99.99.
You can pre-order Wonder Woman here, and you can also see more images of the statue in the gallery.
