2016 has already been quite a year for DC’s iconic Amazon Wonder Woman.
The much-beloved character made her debut on the silver screen in this year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and while the film wasn’t as well received as many would have hoped, Gal Gadot’s take on Wonder Woman is regarded as a substantial bright spot.

It’s also the Amazon’s 75th anniversary, and as one of the prominent members of the Justice League and DC’s trinity, she’s deserving of a display fitting of her place in DC’s long legacy.
For attendees of San Diego Comic-Con, you’re in luck, because Warner Bros. went all out and not only represented the warrior but recreated Diana’s trademark Invisible Jet in a massive display for the show. The display features a full wing, and the planet is set against a blue and cloud filled backdrop. Fans lined up to get their chance to sit in the one of a kind vehicle, which you can view in the gallery.
In addition to the plane itself, the experience also included some Wonder Woman themed artwork from artists Kathrine Brannock, Celeste Byers, and Christina Angelina. You can see them working on their various projects live at the show, utilizing various paints and spray paints. Make sure to check them out in the gallery as well.
Wonder Woman’s 2017 is going to be a big one for the Themyscira resident as well, as her much-anticipated solo film touches down on June 2nd of next year. Even after 75 years, the warrior princess seems to be more popular than ever.
