A new trailer breaking down Android 16’s gameplay in Dragon Ball FighterZ provides some tips and tricks for the fighter while also showing off a massive self-destruct move that guarantees a win.

Bandai Namco posted the gameplay breakdown for Android 16 just last week that highlighted some of the iconic fighter’s best moves with the help of some gaming commentary to walk players through the mechanics. Android 16 appears to have a slow-and-steady fighting style that revolves around grappling with the enemy while staying close to them, so expect an Android 16 to be up in your face if you’re fighting him.

But towards the end of the video, one of Android 16’s most impactful moves was previewed, a self-destruct grab that results in the enemy’s health instantly being reduced to nothing. Dragon Ball Z fans will remember Android 16 attempting to use the self-destruct move against Cell in a virtuous attempt to take the villain down with him, but the ability didn’t work out in Android 16’s favor.

The move might be difficult to pull off when you need it most since it seems to require quite a bit of Android 16’s energy to pull off, the resource bar at the bottom of the trailer dropping down to a “1” from a “4” just by attempting the move. It also has some pretty significant drawbacks as well, leaving Android 16 with barely any health at all after the move is completed.

Using the move early on in a match might seem like a no-brainer, but with how little health players will be left with, it might not be such a strong strategy given the three-fighter format of Dragon Ball FighterZ. The move would work well if the enemy only has one fighter left in their roster to compete with, but using it early on will leave players pretty even with their opponents, essentially losing a fighter for an explosive kill.

Aside from the powerful move, other grabs seem to be a core part of Android 16’s gameplay that he can use to combo into other moves and more grabs.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is set to release in February of 2018.
