Consider Funko’s latest acquisition for its Pop line to be a “flawless victory.”

The company has announced on its blog today that it will be releasing a line of Pop figures based on the Mortal Kombat franchise, set to release this November. And damn it if these things aren’t adorable. UPDATE: The figures are now available to pre-order.

The line-up includes a variety of figures in all, as the “series features the undead ninja specter Scorpion, and his nemesis Sub-Zero,” as well as “the bicycle kicking Liu Kang, Kitana with her deadly fan, and Raiden with his recognizable coolie hat!”

There will also be a Sub-Zero chase piece included with random figures, with “a rarity of 1-in-6” according to the company.

There’s a Scorpion, a variation Scorpion with his masked ripped off (sold exclusively through Hot Topic), two types of Sub-Zero characters (mostly the same but with minor differences), Liu Kang, Kitana, Raiden, a doubly sized Goro (standing 6″ tall โ€“ and, yes, adorable) and an exclusive Scorpion and Sub-Zero two pack that features the warriors standing side to side, with Sub-Zero an icy blue and Scorpion heating up under what appears to be Sub-Zero’s outfitโ€ฆ? Eh, no matter, we’re still going to collect them all anyway, because we’re Mortal Kombat fans!

The figures are set to arrive shortly, and you can find the two-pack and the Goro figures exclusively at GameStop, while the Scorpion “on-fire” figure is at Hot Topic, as mentioned above. The others should be readily available at most retailers, so you can get your collection started and put them in adorable battles against one another.

Even though we haven’t seen a new Mortal Kombat game since XL dropped a couple of years back, NetherRealm has been keeping characters busy in Injustice 2. Sub-Zero’s been making the rounds since his debut earlier this summer, while Raiden is expected to drop into the game next month or in November, to challenge the best that the DC universe has to offer. They’re great additions, and something tells us we’ll see even more combatants show up in the future.
