A League of Legends Bard Bundle Helps Students Return to School

A limited-time League of Legends Bard bundle is currently available to coincide with students returning to school.

The bundle appears to only be available in the North American region, but it makes sense that it'd be revealed now with most colleges and other schools now back in the studying swing of things. A return to school may mean much less time to play League between classes and work, but the Bard To School Bundle is sending students off to the new semester in style.

Revealed just recently, the Bard To School Bundle will only be available for just one weekend and is currently on sale. The bundle hit the League store on Friday, and it'll be there until Sunday, Aug. 27.

The bundle expectedly includes all things Bard with the champion himself, the aptly-named Bard Bard skin, and an interstellar Bardnik Summoner's Icon all wrapped up into one. Bard's special school bundle is a pretty cheap option even for college students costing just 700 RP, the price going up a bit to 1382 RP if you still need to add Bard to your champion pool.

To help celebrate the educational bundle, a new video was also created and uploaded to the League of Legends Community YouTube channel where community collaborations are posted. Shown above, the video has a subtitled Bard encouraging two school-age kids to head back to school while addressing some complaints made by the children's mom.

You might recognize more than just Bard in the video as well when it comes to League champions with smaller indicators hinting towards other champs. The white-haired kid in the video has a scar that looks quite a bit like the one on Riven's cheek, and the young boy who's trying to eat his cereal bowl has a "Yasuo Main" shirt on that indicates his champion preference.

The video also reminds players of the new collectible Bard figure that's recently been made available, but there's unfortunately no way for that to be included in the bundle as well. You can still pick it up yourself, though, considering all the money you'll be saving on the bundle.

The Bard To School Bundle will be available until Aug. 27.
