Some people may have been concerned with the download size of some of Nintendo's upcoming games for the Switch – especially considering it only comes with 32GB of default memory. But one game that won't be such a pain with its download size is ARMS.

The extendy-arm fighting game (that's an interesting way to describe it) will bring its hard-hitting action to the Nintendo Switch next month – and, thankfully, it won't be a burden on your hard drive. According to Reddit user aftheblackguy, the game will only take up 2.2GB of space on your system.

He even managed to take a picture of the data page showing this hard drive space, and it's as clear as day where you can see the 2.2GB Required Space. It also has the game's official description, noting, "ARMS for Nintendo Switch lets you trade blows using extendable arms in a unique multiplayer fighting sport!"

The game also makes notes of the various play modes available for the game – and there appears to be a portable option for those that aren't crazy on motion play. So there's some good news for those of you who have gotten your kicks with games like Virtual On.

Nintendo hasn't finalized the information just yet, but it's good to see that ARMS won't be as big a burden on our system as, say, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which clocks in around 13.4GB. That said, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which came out last month, only takes up 5.5GB of space. So maybe Nintendo is trying to keep things on the lean side.

Still, somewhere down the road – probably once Splatoon 2 comes out, since it'll probably be a bit larger in data size – you should upgrade your system with extended memory, so you can enjoy all the games that Nintendo and its third-party companies have to offer. For the time being, at least ARMS will offer up a whole lot of action without beating up your system memory.

You'll be able to check out ARMS through a series of test-plays over the next couple of weeks (starting this weekend!), leading up to its final release on Nintendo Switch on June 16th. Who's ready to fight?!
