Destiny 2 is in full swing since its release a few weeks ago on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. With tons of post-game content to look forward to for those online players looking for the grind; the raids, strikes, public events, and more have a little something for every type of player. With the Leviathan raid at the center of a lot of hype, it was mightily impressive when a team took down the final boss in just 4 minutes. Now a new feat has emerged calling for its own celebration: the Leviathan raid boss has been taken down by a small team of two!

Slayerage and Epicookiez are no strangers to taking on challenges to be the very best, just recently they beat the raid’s Pleasure Gardens with just the two of them as well. The impressive win of taking down the final boss isn’t just sheer luck; it comes from very clear communication, trust in your team, and arguably the finest gear found in Destiny 2.

Here’s what Slayerage had to say about the defeat of Emperor Calusย and how it is less of a challenge than people might think with a smaller team:ย
“This was actually easier than three manning, funny enough. The normal mechanics of the fight are still possible with three people, but once you get down to two, it’s either fight insane RNG or use the sneaky sneaky spot Cookiez is in. Wouldn’t have been able to do this, especially not so soon, if not for the fact that it was brought to my attention by Adnan รzsarigรถl’s comment on the 3 man video that this spot exists.”

Though they did utilise an exploit, the footage above is still impressive. The team of two definitely did not shy away from taking Calus head on through some powerful DPS. Again, that trust in your team mate is crucial and the almost dance-like precision they moved in when taking on this challenging fight just proves that statement.ย
In addition to their previously mentioned impressive conquering of the Pleasure Gardens, they were also among the team that led the first victory of the Leviathan raid. It was a huge accomplishment, one that Bungie themselves could help but to share their excitement about in an adorable video here.
