The Xbox One X boasts powerful specs on par with that of a decent PC gaming set up. When it releases in November, it will be the most advanced console on the market for that time which makes the anticipation for the next phase in Xbox evolution even higher. Among the games receiving Xbox One X support to optimise titles to match the updated specs is that of the MMORPG Elder Scrolls Online from Bethesda.

The developers behind the online Tamriel experience took to their official Twitter account to break the news. For fans of the long-standing Elder Scrolls series, this is a more familiar experience with the addition of the Morrowind expansion in previous months.

The additional support is expected when Update 16 rolls along, which also houses a few other awesome surprises for those currently enjoying ESO. Among the new content being added is that of the new Clockwork City DLC, as well as an additional PvP mode. Update 16 will also include the usual bug fixes and balance changes, as well.

"The award-winning fantasy role-playing series, The Elder Scrolls goes online – no game subscription required. Experience this multiplayer role-playing game on your own or together with your friends, guild mates, and thousands of alliance members. Explore dangerous caves and dungeons in Skyrim, or craft quality goods to sell in the city of Daggerfall. Embark upon adventurous quests across Tamriel and engage in massive player versus player battles, or spend your days at the nearest fishing hole or reading one of many books of lore"

Elder Scrolls Online is now available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Though it does have an "enhanced" feature that requires a monthly fee, for the basic (and very similar) experience is free after initial purchase.
