It’s time to return to the wasteland, vault-dwellers. Bethesda just revealed that Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition will be launching on September 26 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One! This will be, hands down, the best way to experience the game if you’ve yet to begin your own journey out of Vault 111. The Game of the Year Edition will come packaged with all of the latest game updates and modes, graphical enhancements, the ability to play mods on PC and on consoles, and all of the official DLC add-ons included right out of the box.

“Winner of more than 200 “Best Of” awards โ including the 2016 BAFTA and 2016 D.I.C.E. Game of the Year โ Fallout 4 is the studio’s most ambitious game yet. As the sole survivor of Vault 111, you enter a world destroyed by nuclear war. Every second is a fight for survival, and every choice is yours. Only you can rebuild and determine the fate of the Wasteland.”
As noted, you’re getting a ton of DLC content with this version of the game that wasn’t included at launch. GOTY Edition comes with the Nuka-World, Vault-Tec Workshop, Contraptions Workshop, Far Harbor, Wasteland Workshop, and Automatron add-ons. Bethesda was also pleased to announce the return of the Pip-Boy!
“To celebrate the Game of the Year Edition, Bethesda will release a limited quantity of Fallout 4 G.O.T.Y. Pip-Boy collector editions, exclusively available in North America at select retailers. The Pip-Boy Edition includes Fallout 4 Game of the Year Edition and will retail for $99.99 USD, and will also release on September 26.”
We saw pictures of those things everywhere after the game launched. People enjoyed them very much. If you didn’t know, the thing actually works! You stick your phone in there, and after installing a custom app it transforms into a real-life wearable Pip-Boy. Wear it out to the bars and you’ll score some major cool points with the bros and chicks (please don’t do that).
You can now pre-order the Pip-Boy edition from Amazon for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
