Nintendo of America has shared a list of the most-played Nintendo Switch games that includes the usual suspects and perhaps a few surprises.
The news of the top-played games from the Switch’s first year on the market was spotted on the Nintendo Switch itself through the “News” section. Since then, the news has begun making the rounds on forums like Resetera where Switch owners discuss their top games and reorganize the list to their personal preferences.

Considering how popular the top few games were, especially The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey, it should come as little surprise that they’re the chart-toppers for the most-played Switch games. As several commenters already pointed out though, one game that may come as a surprise given how high up it is would be Stardew Valley. The game ranked at No. 6 on the list above other titles like Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle, ARMS, and sports titles such as NBA 2K18 and FIFA 18. Rocket League capped the end of the list at No. 20, but each of the games is titles worth trying if you’re a proud new Switch owner after the holidays.
