Following an earlier drop of Monster Hunter World trailers and new info, Capcom has followed up with one more new video that serves as a nine minute introduction to the game. With detailed gameplay and spotlights on some of the major NPCs that the player will encounter along the way, the video seems to serve as an extended trailer for the game, which debuts on January 26th. Check it out below:

Earlier today, the official Monster Hunter social media accounts began to spread the word that the game's beta will officially begin on December 9th, giving Playstation Plus users a first look at the title, two weeks before the rest of the public. The were plenty of other videos released, and while the highlight of all the news has to be the introduction of the Palicoes, there's plenty to take in for long time fans of the franchise.

In the video above, we're given a sneak peek at monsters like Anjanath and even shown effective techniques for how to take these titans down. The game's various gadgets are on display as well, letting the video serve as a pretty decent summary of all the major news that has recently brewed up around the open-world title. The game puts the player int he role of a Hunter, who must navigate an all-new world and capture monsters alongside their friends. It will feature a drop-in mode, so that fellow players can help out during the most perilous of in-game battles. Players and Monsters alike will be able to explore the map seamlessly, with no screen transitions between destinations for a more realistic-feeling journey.

Monster Hunter World will be available for Playstation 4 and Xbox One, but it looks like the beta is exclusive to PS Plus users only for now. Eager players can get the pre-order now, though holiday deals don't look too promising for the title just yet.
