Police say that Curtis Combs of Somerset, Kentucky jumped an outer security barrier while dressed as the cuddly and popular Pokemon. The man was taken into custody shortly after dropping a backpack on White House grounds. The police determined that the backpack contained nothing hazardous or dangerous.

Combs was charged with unlawful entry after his arrest. No motive was given for why Combs tried to access White House grounds.

This isn’t the first time a Pokemon fan has scaled the White House fence. In 2014, a man wearing a Pikachu hat and carrying a Pikachu stuffed animal was dragged away from the White House after scaling the fence.

While not typically known as a Pokemon landmark, the White House gained some infamy last year when Pokemon Go players discovered a gym on White House grounds. While the gym was originally accessible to the public, it’s unclear if players can still access it due to recent security measures undertaken earlier this year.

Of course, while the Pokemon theme song encourages fans to “catch ’em all,” these incidents should serve as a reminder to stay away from restricted areas while going on your own Pokemon journey.
