Power Rangers Legacy Wars is getting a new fighter, and fans of Mystic Force should be rejoicing.

That’s because it is none other than Koragg, a fan favorite of Power Rangers Mystic Force for a variety of reasons. Aside from his slick wolf-inspired design, Power Rangers fans always have a soft spot for villains turned allies, and Koragg was popular in both roles during the show’s run.

Legacy Wars has released the first trailer of the warrior in action, showing off Koragg’s Leader abilities as well as his Assist attack, and players are going to immensely enjoy using him on their teams (via Power Rangers NOW).

Both the Leader and Assist versions of Koragg are Defender Class warriors, and while he contains multiple projectile attacks, they do double damage if you can pull them off up close.

Koragg’s Leader abilities consist of his two Strike attacks, Knight’s Fury and Shield Bash. Knight’s Fury doles out numerous melee attacks with very little EP required. Shield Bash does exactly what it sounds like, but Koragg spins into it, allowing it to cover a greater distance.

He also has a special block attack called Wolf Attack, and a Breaker called Dark Magic Strike. Wolf Attack fires a wolf-shaped blast from his shield, and can cover a lot of ground, while Dark Magic Strike fires two projectiles from his sword.

The Assist version of the character has a Breaker ability called Shield of Darkness, which launches a projectile attack across the ground towards his opponent. It also has the benefit of launching the opponent in the air, and it even launches your enemy towards you as opposed to just straight up.

You can view the moveset trailer in the video above, and hit the next slide to get more details on each of his moves and how to unlock him!

A Closer Look

Fans will have the chance to unlock Koraggย in a special Morph Box that will be available starting on Friday, August 25th at 12 pm Pacific.ย

While fans have yet to see Koragg in actual live gameplay, here’s how his abilities break down.

Knight’s Fury (Strike)

Hits for multipleย Strikes and is cheap to use, but each hit doesn’t do as much damage. If you can connect with the last hit it will launch an opponent into the air.

Cost: 2 EP

Shield Bash (Strike)

Standard strike attack where Koragg spins towards an opponent and hits them with his shield.

Cost: 4 EP

Wolf Attack: (Disruptor)

Can be used as either a standardย attack or a projectile, and since it is a disruptor it will go through Strikes. If you can land it in meleeย distance, it will count as projectile and shield damage.

Cost: 4 EP

Dark Magic Strike (Breaker)

This attack deals projectile and sword damage, and being a Breaker attack has the ability to land twice. All in all, it counts for four attacks if successful.

Cost: 5 EP

Shield of Darkness (Breaker)

Koraggย slams his shield into the ground, resulting in a shockwaveย that can cross the entire screen. It also launches the opponent towards him after it hits.

Cost: 3 EP
