Yesterday, we posted on the news that the SNES Classic Edition pre-orders have pretty much run out, and, as a result, the Internet has acted accordingly, with reactions ranging from happy (based on getting a pre-order) to full-blown rage (for people that weren’t able to get their hands on one). Despite some people feeling better than others, the reactions we’ve seen thus far are pretty great.

But there’s more where that came from, as we’ve managed to find even more great posts that deal with people being able (or not able) to get their hands on a SNES Classic pre-order. So let’s take a look at these reactions and have some fun! (Or not fun, depending on your perspective.)
Nintendo, Send Me Free Stuff!
I heard about what’s been going on with the SNES classic, and I immediately thought of Rick and Morty pic.twitter.com/Z30bCj38fX

This may be one of the greatest reactions ever, as it captures the feverish nature of how some resellers are cashing in on Nintendo madness. Voice actor Michael Edwards posted the above clip from Rick and Morty, in which Rick goes on a rampage when he finds that Wal-Mart is selling Legend of Zelda 3DS systems for $150 with a $50 gift card, and how they can be “flipped” for around $230. But, of course, he’ll get one for himself because Zeldaaaaaa. Oh, and you have to love the little endorsement shout-out at the end, where Rick simply yells, “Nintendo, send me free stuff!”

โ Rooster Teeth? (@RoosterTeeth) August 22, 2017
Rooster Teeth has done it again โ it’s provided a great commentary on an Internet situation that makes them so damn lovable. This time, it’s posted a GIF talking about “Nintendo with these SNES Classic pre-orders,” showing former Denver Bronco quarterback Peyton Manning playfully having fun with teammates as they keep the ball away from him. Hey, it’s kind of true โ Nintendo isn’t really doing many fans favors with keeping them away from a must-have system. Again, there’s the off-chance that it could produce more systems in time for release. And GameStop did note that it would have a few on launch day. Soโฆcrossed fingers?
Things Are Out Of Hand
A live look at Nintendo, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon and GameStop handling the SNES Classic preorders pic.twitter.com/ldpbwQd4G7
โ King AC (@ACinthe715) August 22, 2017
Okay, this is master class posting here. King AC has managed to post a tweet that explains the process of retailers like Amazon, GameStop and Best Buy handling pre-orders, and it features a poor sap from an infomercial who just wants to carry car cleaning supplies over to his vehicle, only to pretty much drop everything and collapse to the ground. Hey, it’s true. A lot of retailers have been going nuts trying to balance the pre-orders, and have angered quite a few customers with order cancellations and not being able to check in with an item. Sighโฆyou’d think there would be an easier way.
The Miyamoto Reaction
Nintendo: We will produce significantly more units of SNES Classic than we did of NES Classic.

Everyone: oh thank god

Finally, we have this great GIF from Tylor, aka TheSirToasty, who simply posts a Shigeru Miyamoto video to get the point across. Nintendo has vowed to make more SNES Classic Edition systems, which has left a few fans feeling relief. But then you see the Miyamoto GIF in which he gives a rather awkward facial reaction, indicating that things may not quite be what they seem. All the same, if you are hoping on a walk-in, it probably doesn’t hurt to get a camp-out going. Hey, it’s not the end of the world โ you can bring a Nintendo Switch or 3DS with you and keep the Nintendo vibe going!
The SNES Classic arrives on September 29th.
