South Park: The Fractured But Whole is out now and fans of the hilarious comedy show are already having a blast seeing fan favourites once again. The whole crew is back, including our beloved Cartman, and ready for a new adventure. As players dive into the adventure as “The New Kid,” they will find themselves needing to put those detective skills to good work in order to breach the Coon and Friends secret layer. A code is needed to clear the door but players who have either memorised the code from a previous playthrough, or have taken a sneak peek online to find the answer, can unlock it easily. But the game knows, and Cartman is having none of it. Take a look at the hilarious guilt trip in the video below:
For those that are fans of the show, they might recognise Cartman’s get up – which just goes to show how true to the source material the game really is. There are many nods within The Fractured But Whole to the longstanding TV show, just as the case was with the game’s predecessor: The Stick of Truth.
For those that may not be familiar with what this new adventure brings:
“From the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, comes South Park: The Fractured But Whole, a sequel to 2014’s award-winning South Park: The Stick of Truth. Players will once again assume the role of the New Kid and join South Park favorites Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman in a new hilarious and outrageous RPG adventure.
In South Park: The Fractured But Whole, players will delve into the crime-ridden underbelly of South Park with Coon and Friends. This dedicated group of crime fighters was formed by Eric Cartman whose superhero alter-ego, The Coon, is half man, half raccoon. As the New Kid, players will join Mysterion, Toolshed, Human Kite and a host of others to battle the forces of evil while Coon strives to make his team the most beloved superheroes in history.”
South Park: The Fractured But Whole is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
