A few months back, Blizzard announced that it would be bringing back its classic adventure StarCraft in remastered form, perking up the ears of millions of its fans all over the world. And now, it’s time to frickin’ play it!
Blizzard has confirmed that its classic science fiction-based real-time strategy (RTS) game is finally available through Battle.net, going for the fairly good price of $15 for PC and Mac. That said, though, you will require the original StarCraft in order to upgrade.

The game features the original content from StarCraft‘s first release, along with the Brood War expansion. It supports wide-screen 4K resolution, and also features updates music and sound effects. You’ll also be able to get the most out of the game across matchmaking and leaderboards as well. Game saves can also be processed to the cloud, and your keys can be rebinded if need be.
If you prefer, though, you can go back to the original StarCraft in classic mode, which is included for no additional charge. One click of a button and you can return to the 90’s all over again!
