Steam has revealed its biggest sellers of 2017, the top 100 list compiling of every game that was a huge hit this past year as we move on into a new one with even more surprises ahead. This year's list has PUBG near the top, which isn't surprising when looking at how many record it has broke since its initial launch into Early Access. Other greats have also made their way, which gives players from all over the world a chance to see what their peers are getting down on.

Steam, like previous years, breaks it down into four categories:

  • Platinum
  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Bronze

Each group ranks which games had the highest gross revenue for this past year, and though many of the victors are not surprising - there were a few twists mentioned. Here are the top ten from each category:

We've go to admit, Euro Truck Simulator beating out Resident Evil 7 was a bit of a surprise, but it's interesting to see player interest on a mass scale.
