League of Legends’ ARURF might be a bit more luck-based than traditional URF fans would like, but there are still some clearly coveted picks when it comes to being issued a random champion.

Using the same reroll system that’s seen in ARAM, the All Random Ultra Rapid Fire features a randomized twist on the low-cooldown URF game mode. Giving a random champion to each player that can be traded or rerolled was a decision made to prevent the same old priority picks from showing up in every URF game.

While it can lead to some one-sided matches where one team full of top champs stomps an Aatrox, Udyr, and Ivern comp, many players still enjoy the fast-paced game mode.

It’s easy to look for the champions that you enjoy the most when blasting through your rerolls, but according to some stats first compiled on Reddit through lolalytics.com, here are the best champions you can hope for in ARURF.

No. 5: Wukong With 59.4% Winrate

Give an 80 percent cooldown reduction to a high-damage champion with a dash ability like Wukong and you’ve already got yourself a recipe for success in ARURF.

While the ability-spamming begins at level 1 for every champ in ARURF, Wukong has one of the deadliest starts in the game mode with his ability to engage with his Nimbus Strike ability. With a cooldown of just over 1.5 seconds in ARURF, Wukong barely even needs to weave in auto attacks between the Es.

Unless the enemy has some sort of dash or reliable CC, Wukong is almost guaranteed to run them down or at least back to their base. But even with his power, he’s still the last of the top five champions in ARURF.

No. 4: Ahri With 59.7% Winrate

Coming in the list just barely above Wukong is Ahri, a champion that offers a very different experience in ARURF than the Monkey King does.

While Wukong is pretty difficult to escape in the game mode, Ahri is the other way around, a mage that’s hard to pin down thanks to her movement speed and her constant CC in the form of her Charm ability.

ย Combine all of that with her three-dash ultimate being on a very low cooldown and you’ve got a champ that can do well both as a solo laner in the mid lane or working in tandem with another teammate.

No. 3: Xin Zhao

Xin Zhao comes in at No. 3 in the list of top ARURF champions with a powerful kit that results in enemies quickly being deleted from Summoner’s Rift.

Much like Wukong, Xin Zhao can stick to enemy champs like glue with the help of a dash and some CC to boot. His dash ability already has a slow attached to it, but by the time that wears off, you’re already up in the air getting jabbed with a spear a million times over thanks to his self-buffed attack speed.

Armor and magic resistance may not feel like it plays into ARURF much with how quickly abilities and deaths fly, but when a Xin Zhao reduces your armor and unloads some auto attacks, you’ll find out pretty quickly that it still matters.

No 2: Malzahar With 60.3% Winrate

Malzahar is the only other mage that finds himself among the top five list, but he’s not exactly coming into games alone considering the massive swarm of Voidlings that he can conjure up in Urf.

The Void mage finds himself with such a high winrate for a variety of reason, one of which likely has to do with his silencing ability. In a game mode where everyone is smashing their keyboard as fast as they can to unleash mayhem on enemies, taking away the feature that makes ARURF what it is, even for just a brief moment, can be devastating.

Like the armor and magic resist, players might not always think about the other objectives like dragons and the Baron, but Malzahar has no problem soloing these by summoning multiple Voidlings to do his bidding.

No. 1: Fiora With 63% Winrate

Coming in at the No. 1 spot on the top champions for ARURF is Fiora, a reigning champion that should come as no surprise to anyone who’s played any form of URFย since the duelist had her abilities reworked.

Sticking with the theme of keeping the pressure on enemies with some insane mobility, Fiora’s Lunge ability allows her to deal quite a bit of damage to enemies and makes striking Vitals even easier given the low cooldown. Minions actually help her more with this ability since killing one will reduce the cooldown even further, acting more as a gap closer than an obstacle for Fiora.

If a Fiora can get her hands on a Phage, you can pretty much consider any chase over unless you have some way of escaping her pursuit. Out of all other champions, Fiora has plenty going for her to earn the No. 1 spot in ARURF.

Champions You Can’t Play In ARURF

Among all these top contenders, there are two champions that find themselves as far away from the top spots that they could possibly be. In fact, you can’t even play as these two champs in ARURF.

A mage and a support, Ryze and Sonaย appear to be disabled for ARURF. Both of these champions are already well-known for being able to spam their abilities at will in normal games as long as mana holds up, and with that one limiter removed, you can expect your fingers to be more worn out than if you were spamming some Karthusย Qs.

There doesn’t appear to be an indication of these two champions being disabled in ARURF, but looking at the data provided by lolalyticsย for the game mode, statistics for both of these champions are left off of the list.
