The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia Gets a Pre-Launch Trailer

We’re just days away from the official release of The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia, and Bandai Namco Entertainment has bestowed upon the fandom a glorious gift. New footage is available in the latest pre-launch trailer for the title, which summarizes the game for the unacquainted and shows off some of the extremely exciting features that have been talked about for months. The cast is packed with all of the franchise’s biggest stars, and their radical powers are at the player’s command, as shown in the trailer below. Check it out:

The game’s story sticks closely to that of the manga and anime series that came before it, putting players in the middle of epic battles and major events that crafted the story. The series gained popularity in the U.S. when Netflix picked it up, but it originally began as a manga back in October of 2012.

The story follows Princess Elizabeth of Lioness as she teams up with some of her Kingdom’s most dangerous criminals to reclaim her kingdom the land from a group of notorious traitors to the throne. The Seven Deadly Sins each have their own personal characteristic that drives them, creating chemistry and friction among each other, often right in the middle of the Boar’s Hat bar, which the hero routinely haunts.
