A brand-new promo trailer for Agents of SHIELD Season 4 has just been released, and it looks lit – literally.

The video focuses on the upcoming arrival of Ghost Rider to series. Showing off the hero’s souped-up muscle car, the clip features a voiceover which says, “They say when the rider burns you, he burns your soul.” Appropriately, the next scene shows Ghost Rider’s car with flames coming from its undercarriage and hood. A series of clips then spotlight characters like Daisy, Fitz, Coulson, and Mack before viewers see what appears to be a beat-up criminal chained to a wall. Screaming, the poor guy is eventually replaced by footage of the hellfire ride gunning straight at him.

With Agents of SHIELD set to return in just over a week, ABC and Marvel TV are doing all they can to hype fans for its return. Of course, the two are teaming up to market Ghost Rider’s appearance on the show as his inclusion has made plenty of fans excited. After all, Ghost Rider seems to be the central focus of Season 4, appeasing viewers who have long lamented the show’s failure to include more recognizable Marvel superheroes.

In a recent update, fans learned Ghost Rider would make his entrance onto the show immediately as the first episode of Season 4 is titled “Ghost.” And, by the second episode, it seems that Daisy will come in contact with the possessed character. The episode’s synopsis was released not long ago and teased that Daisy sets out confront Ghost Rider at a terrible cost.

And, earlier this month, fans were given their first behind-the-scenes look at Ghost Rider. Following Nicolas Cage’s panned portrayal of Johnny Blaze as Ghost Rider on the big screen, Agents of SHIELD will introduce Robbie Reyes to fans. The newest iteration of the character, Robbie made his debut in Marvel NOW and notably ditches the hero’s motorcycle aesthetic for a hot rod.

Speaking about the character, executive producer Jed Whedon told Entertainment Weekly the show would put its own spin on the character. “We are staying true to the comics in the places where we feel like it’s really important,” he said. “We love the character’s family dynamic and the East L.A. kid in him.”

When it comes to the character’s appearance, it looks like Marvel TV stuck very close to its source comics. Robbie sports a dark look with faded jeans, leather gloves, and a tough jacket with a white, rectangular image printed on it. The costume design is clearly on-point, leaving fans hopeful that Agents of SHIELD will make the hero’s iconic flaming skull look just as hot with CGI.

In light of the Sokovia Accords, and with Hydra obliterated, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been legitimatized again and no longer needs to operate in the shadows. Since the world presumes that Coulson is dead, the organization needed a new Director to be the face of the organization. Coulson finds himself back in the role as an agent and teamed with Mack, and together they are tasked with tracking down and confirming the presence of Enhanced people, aka Inhumans. Agent May is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz and Simmons have taken a big step forward in their relationship.

Agents of SHIELD Season 4 premieres Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
