The first trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming is set to be released tonight during JimmY Kimmel Live! It's become one of the most highly-anticipated trailers in recent memory, and fans have been chomping at the bit for the first footage.
What will be included in the trailer is a total mystery, so it will be a total roll of the dice when it's released. Will fans see an edgy, colorful, hilarious trailer like Guardians Of The Galaxy? Or will the footage be a little more mysterious, with some witty jokes thrown in, like Iron Man.
No matter what, it's hard to imagine this trailer will disappoint. That being said, fans can always dream. Everyone has their wishlist for the Spider-Man trailer, and here's the top five we'd like to see tonight.
The Vulture is one of the best villains in Spider-Man comics, and it's an awesome feeling to know that he will finally make his big screen debut.
What's even better? The famous villain is played by veteran actor Michael Keaton.
While Keaton has earned a lot of adoration for his roles in Birdman and Spotlight, the actor gained the majority of his fame for his turn as Batman in the 1989 film.
Keaton is an incredible talent, and he should be a great mentor for the young star Tom Holland. The witty banter between the two characters should be wonderful, and the fights scenes will be nothing less than legendary.
Tony And May
The casting of Marisa Tomei as Aunt May was a bold choice by Marvel Studios, but it seems to have paid off greatly. The chemistry between Tomei and Robert Downey Jr was flawless in Captain America: Civil War, and it would be disappointing if the trailer didn't feature more of the same.
Uncle Ben was killed long before Spider-Man appeared in the MCU, so Tony Stark has become the new love interest for May. This dynamic is fan for fans to begin with, but it brings a lot to the table in terms of how it will affect Peter's work with Tony.
More Spidey Jokes
One of the traits that made Spider-Man comics so famous was the ability of the character to make fun of his opponents during a fight.
The first two Spider-Man franchises were lacking in this area, and the fans made their voices heard.
The casting of Tom Holland was a step in the right direction, and the actor proved that he had mastered the playground dialogue in his brief appearance in Captain America: Civil War.
The film should be riddled with these jokes from Spidey, but it would go a long way for fans to see them in the trailer as well. Just to prove the movie won't disappoint, there's a great chance we could see a few.
Fight With Flash
Flash Thompson is such an integral part of Spider-Man's history, and the film has already confirmed his inclusion.
With Tony Revolori set to portray Flash, fans are extremely curious about how he will play the role. The young actor has a lot of talent, so a clip in the trailer should be enough to prove he belongs in the role.
Since the film takes place after Peter has become Spider-Man, there's a good chance he and Flash could be on the way toward better terms. No plot details have been released regarding the character, so only time will be able to tell.
Yes, Uncle Ben has already passed at this point, but it doesn't mean he can't appear.
A flashback, featuring the "with great power comes great responsibility" line, would go a long way in showing the emotion that drives Peter.
Another way to make this happen is to see Peter visit his grave, or look at his picture. Really, if Peter can make a nod to Uncle Ben in any way, fans would beyond pleased.
The first Homecoming trailer will drop tonight during Jimmy Kimmel Live! The international trailer should be released shortly after. Keep checking back with ComicBook.com tonight to catch all the latest Spider-Man info.
