When Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios made the deal to bring Spider-Man to the MCU, they stated that they wouldn’t be rehashing any of the villains that were previously featured in the other two series of films featuring the Wall Crawler.

And while that took the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, the Lizard, Electro, and Venom off of the table, it still left plenty of rogues to be utilized on the big screen.

Vulture is finally getting the big screen treatment in the forthcoming Spider-Man: Homecomingโ€”ComicBook.com’s 7th Most Anticipated Movie as voted by readersโ€”courtesy of actor Michael Keaton, but he’ll also be joined by Bokeem Woodbine’s Shocker and Michael Chernus’ the Tinkerer.

But there’s also another classic villain coming into the fold, one created by the original team of Steve Ditko and Marvel godfather Stan Lee all the way back in Amazing Spider-Man #10.

MCU Exchange reported that Prometheus actor Logan Marshall Green will be playing a character named Brice. AKA Jackson Brice. AKA Montana (Marvel).

Montana appeared in the early Spider-Man comics as a member of the villain team the Enforcers. Most recently he played the Kingpin’s right hand man in Dan Slott’s “Big Time” storyline on the Amazing Spider-Man comic until the character died, and then was brought back as a part of the recent “Clone Conspiracy” event.

Green’s role was previously a mystery, but the reveal by way of a set report seems confirmed by the actor’s attire adorning a nametag reading “Brice.”

Although we’d really like to see the character make it out of this movie alive and go on to appear as a lackey to Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin, that seems extremely unlikely due to the separation between Marvel Studios and Marvel Television propertiesโ€”despite existing in the same universe, supposedly.

We’ll get to see Marshall Green’s Marvel debut when Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters on July 7.
