Andy Serkis is set to bring Marvel Comics villain Ulysses “Klaw” Klaue to Black Panther and he plans to make good as one of Black Panther‘s oldest foes.

Serkis tells ComicBook.com at Comic-Con International: San Diego that Klaue’s looking to expose what he sees as the hypocrisy inherent in the very existence of Wakanda.

“He is the only person who has been into Wakanda and seen the wealth that it has and he wants to expose that,” Serkis says. “He believes them to be a hypocritical country. They’re playing this kind of ‘we’re a third world country’ card and he knows what’s underlying that so he’s trying to expose that.”

Serkis also warns that, despite things going poorly for Klaue in Avengers: Age of Ultron, the villain shouldn’t be taken lightly.

“He is the bringer-down of governments,” he says. “He collaborates. He’s an arms dealer. He knows how to play people and he has a personal vendetta against T’Challa as well.”

In other words, Black Panther should keep an eye on Klaw. Serkis makes his Ulysses Klaue sound every bit as formidable as the very dangerous Klaw from the Marvel Comics universe.
