This week is led off by the big two, who are both entering into bit next phases of their respective universes. If you aren’t a fan of mysterious or epic backstabs though, there’s still plenty for you to love on the shelves.

For those who do enjoy those types of stories, Marvel’s big Secret Empire event starts big with Secret Empire #0, as well as interwoven books like Steve Rogers: Captain America and Thunderbolts. On the DC side is Batman #21, which moves the Watchman storyline forward. If you enjoy the other aspects of the Bat-universe, books like Nightwing and Batwoman might also be worth picking up.
Elsewhere books like Buffy, Angel, Power Rangers and Ninjak are all getting new issues, and a big return is at the center of the anticipated Venom #6.
