Disney has made it no secret that they hope to launch their Disney+ app with as many Marvel and Star Wars titles as they can manage, and at least in some markets, it seems they are doing a pretty thorough job of it. In a social media post, one user who is trying out an early release of Disney+ has released a listing of all the Marvel movies already loaded onto the app. Per the list — which comes from fans in the Netherlands, who have been taking stock of the app’s offerings since they began their free trial — almost all of Marvel’s movies are represented on Disney+, excepting The Incredible Hulk, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Avengers: Endgame. Spider-Man: Far From Home is also absent, but since it is not yet streaming in any form, that goes without saying.

While Endgame is likely absent simply because it is so new, and Marvel/Disney want an opportunity to make some extra money through streaming rentals and DVD sales, other absences — The Incredible Hulk and the Spider-Man films — are almost certainly due to the financial interest other studios hold in those films (Universal for the Hulk and Sony for Spidey). Disney+, it seems, is a platform where only Disney is going to make any money — at least at first.
Bear in mind that these are the titles available in the Netherlands, and there is no guarantee that other markets will have the same selection. In the U.S., for example, Disney executives have been open about the fact that they do not plan to buy themselves out of existing deals, and will just wait until Netflix and other streaming agreements expire. So treat this less as gospel and more like a guideline.
