Marvel Legacy laid the foundation for many future stories, but it also made a huge change to the history of its most iconic team.

In Marvel Legacy #1, Jarvis is seen in Avengers Mansion, though he is just staring out the window. Nadia Pym (the current Wasp), approaches and asks if anything is wrong, and Jarvis’ response indicates something is not quite right.

“I know every brick and stone of this old place, from good memories to bad…and yet…have you ever felt as if some part of your surroundings, some insignificant detail, is just…wrong…?

He finishes speaking and walks off, saying “everything’s just as it should be”, but then the scene switches to the iconic Avengers statue that sits in the courtyard, and it is apparent that not everything is “as it should be”. As you can see in the gallery, the statue features figures you expect, including The Hulk, Giant Man, Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America (the real one, not the crazy one). It also features one extra figure, the mysterious new character Voyager.

So, how the heck did she get there, and why does Jarvis not see that she isn’t supposed to be there? That’s all going to play out over the next few months, but it seems that history has indeed been altered, and Voyager is the reason why.

You can find the spoiler image in the gallery.

Who is Voyager? Well, no one is really sure, other than that Marvel announced her as debuting in Marvel Legacy #1. This is the only image of her in the issue, but a teaser of her was released previously, showing off her costume. The character has white hair and a mostly yellow costume with black gloves and boots. She also wears a red scarf and her symbol on her belt.

Previous theories suggested she would be the revised version of Ayesha, but being a member of the Avengers kind of rockets that theory. Many also suspected she would show up first in the Avengers of 1,000,000 B.C., but that also did not happen, so the mystery of who she is and what she means to the Avengers is still unsolved.

One thing is for sure though, and that’s the history of the Avengers will never be the same.
