Captain America ‘Civil War’ Statue From Iron Studios Revealed

Collectors, get ready. There is a brand-new Captain America statue coming to store next year, and it looks rather impressive. The patriotic Avenger will be getting a figure thanks to Iron Studios, and the company recently released a a slew of pictures for the anticipated release.

The figure is a 1/10th scale, and it is based directly on the appearance of Captain America from this year’s Captain America: Civil War. You can check out some of the figure’s features below:

The figure is expected to become available sometime in May 2017. Its suggested retail price is $329.99, and it features hand-painted polystone sculpts inspired by Captain America’s on-screen likeness.

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
