Some would argue that Captain America: The Winter Soldier has very little to improve on. But a new fan video gives the Marvel Cinematic Universe film a pretty awesome upgrade - inspired by one of this summer's hit films.
A new video posted by Youtuber Mr. Krepshus imagines Winter Soldier's trailer in the style of Baby Driver. You can check it out below.
It's edited to closely mirror Baby Driver's "TeKillYah" trailer, with Vinnie Maniscalco's remix of The Button Down Brass' hit song layered over some of Winter Soldier's most memorable moments. Surprisingly, the two concepts mesh together really well, with the elevator fight scenes and Nick Fury's car chase getting an added oomph when synced to Baby Driver's awesome soundtrack.
There is, of course, an added sense of irony to the video, as Baby Driver's director Edgar Wright departed fellow MCU Phase Two film Ant-Man during production. But Wright hasn't ruled out a return to the world of superhero movies, meaning fans could oneday see a superhero film with his distinct style.
Much of The Winter Soldier's ensemble cast - aside from, reportedly, Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury - can next be seen in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War, which debuts on May 4th, 2018.
Avengers: Infinity War currently enjoys a 4.32 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings, and you can submit your vote here.
