Earlier today, fans were treated to set photos of Wade Wilson/Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) parachuting on the set of Deadpool 2. But we’ve just discovered that the Merc with a Mouth wasn’t alone in his high-flying stunts – as Neena Thurman/Domino (Zazie Beetz) joined him.

TMZ recently shared photos of Beetz on today’s Deadpool 2 set – one of her parachuting down (and looking rather badass while doing so), while another shows Beetz – as well as her stunt double – standing on a grassy set. You can check out the photos here.

While the photos of Deadpool showed the protagonist, and his parachute, hanging off of a billboard, it appears that Domino stuck the landing rather gracefully. Whether or not this is an overt display of the character’s luck-based powers, or just is a bit of movie magic, has yet to be seen.

Beetz’s portrayal of Domino made waves earlier this week, after Reynolds shared a first-look photo of the actress in costume. Now that we’ve seen her make an equally unique arrival on set, fans can expect even more awesome moments from the character once Deadpool 2 hits the screen.

Deadpool 2 currently has a 4.07 out of 5 ComicBook.com User Anticipation Rating, making it the fifth most anticipated upcoming comic book movie among ComicBook.com readers. Let us know how excited you are for Deadpool 2 by giving it your own anticipation rating below.

David Leitch (John Wick) will direct the sequel, taking over for original Deadpool director Tim Miller. Ryan Reynolds will return as Wade Wilson, a.k.a. Deadpool, the Merc with a Mouth. For the sequel, he’ll be joined by Josh Brolin as Cable and Zazie Beetz as Domino. Jack Kesy has been cast in an undisclosed villain role, speculated to be Black Tom Cassidy. Shioli Kutsuna has also joined the production in an undisclosed “key” role.

Deadpool 2 opens in theaters on June 1, 2018.
