Phase Zero Spotlight: Pyro Actor Aaron Stanford Talks Deadpool & Wolverine, X-Men Journeys
Pyro actor Aaron Stanford has returned to his mutant role and talked with Phase Zero about the journey!
Following the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, Phase Zero hosted a Spotlight episode with Pyro actor Aaron Stanford! The new episode released after the second weekend of in playing in theaters, giving audiences a chance to see the latest Marvel title before diving into spoilers for the story. The Aaron Stanford Spotlight episode of Phase Zero is loaded with spoilers for Deadpool & Wolverine, covering his journey with the latest Marvel Studios title and looking back at his time working on X-Men, X-2: X-Men United, and more.
Starting at the beginning of the journey for Deadpool & Wolverine, Stan "I jsut got a phone call. They were sniffing around. My agent called me, she said, 'MCU wants to know your avails. That type of thing. Of course, no details were given, so there were several rounds of that and finally I got the notice that Shawn wanted to get on the phone with me, the director. At that point, it started to come together because I knew he was directing the next Deadpool. So, I was like, 'Maybe that's what this is.' We got on a Zoom together and he said, 'Yeah, we want to resurrect Pyro for the new Deadpool film.' Yeah. So, it was fantastic."
The new Spotlight episode follows a record-breaking episode of Phase Zero in which Deadpool & Wolverine's Laura Kinney actor Dafne Keen joined the show. The X-23-centric episode is also available now on all major podcast platforms and the Phase Zero YouTube channel.
