In just a matter of days, Disneyland will be unveiling its newest theme park ride for eager attendees and Marvel fans everywhere. The California resort is slated to open up its Guardians of the Galaxy ride to the public on May 27th, and fans have just gotten their closest look at the attraction yet. In a recent video, Disneyland follows Beneicio Del Toro as the actor visits the park before the Guardians of the Galaxy ride gets released. It is in the new video that fans are shown several of the ride's big easter eggs, and they will look familiar to fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The video focuses on Del Toro as the actor explains how he was involved with Disneyland's newest ride. However, fans found their attention drawn to the clips which were scattered throughout the trailer.
One of the first easter eggs scene comes in the form of an empty suit of space armor. The shiny attire bears the Nova Corps logo, and the outfit is one fans should recognize from the first Guardians of the Galaxy film.
Another surprising easter egg comes in the form of a Doctor Strange nod. In a quick shot, fans can see an enlarged trophy of the Eye of Agomotto. The massive statue doesn't actually house the Time Stone as the weapon is securely under Doctor Strange's watch. Still, the nod to the Infinity Stone is a complimentary one since the Collector's huge collection did house some of the stones at one point.
Several other easter eggs are also highlighted like Cosmo, the astronaut dog from Guardians of the Galaxy. A mask belonging to a Dark Elf from Thor: The Dark World was also seen along with a collection of Chitauri eyeballs.
One of the video's last easter eggs housed a special reference to Avengers: Age of Ultron. The video panned over a display case which contains the remains of an Ultron bot.
