Marvel Comics and ESPN have teamed up to comemmorate the return of football season (specifically college football) by releasing a new series of Marvel Comics covers, which each feature a college football mascot depicted as a Marvel-style superhero. This year is special because for the first time in college football, the top preseason teams will be playing against opponents ranked in the top three.
