Some Hawkeye fans are disappointed that they didn’t get a Spider-Man cameo in the season finale. You have been warned* As Clint Barton and Kate Bishop ran towards their confrontation with Wilson Fisk and the tracksuit mafia, people wanted Peter Parker to come swinging in for the save. But, it wasn’t to be. The final action sequence was a ton of fun with a bunch of trick arrows and all the parts from the series being present. However, a number of viewers left the finale upset about Kingpin’s resolution and the lack of your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. The Hollywood Reporter spoke to directors Bert and Bertie about getting Vincent D’Onofrio back for the Disney+ series. It’s a big moment for all those Netflix Marvel fans.
“We were lucky enough to work with him and to share time and space with him,” said Bert. “He is the most remarkable actor, the way he holds space. That was a treat. That was one of our favorite days on set.”
