The cast primarily consists of the Inhuman Royal Family that rules in the hidden city of Attilan. Anson Mounts is Black Bolt, the silent king who could level a city by simply speaking. Serinda Swan plays Black Bolt’s queen, Medusa, who can control her hair like a limb. Iwan Rheon plays Maximus, the apparently powerless brother of Black Bolt who stages a coup in Attilan.

Isabelle Cornish plays Crystal, the sister of Medusa who can control the elements of water, earth, wind, and fire. Eme Ikwuakor, Mike Moh, and Ken Leung play Gorgon, Triton, and Karnak, respectively, cousins to the royal family. Gorgon has powerful legs that can create seismic shockwaves with a stomp. Triton has an aquatic physiology that makes him more at home in the water than on land. Karnak, Triton’s brother, is unusual in that, at least in the Marvel comics universe, he is an Inhuman who did not undergo Terrigenesis. Instead, he studied at the Tower of Wisdom and learned to find the weakness in all things.

Sonya Balmores plays Auran, the head of Attilan security with the Inhuman ability of “parabolic hearing,” which lets her track a single word of her choosing anywhere it is spoken on Earth. Ellen Woglom is Louise, a human who becomes a point of contact with the Inhumans when Black Bolt arrives on Earth.

Marvel’s Inhumans explores the never-before-told epic adventure of the royal family, including “Black Bolt,” the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city. After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.

The first two episodes of Marvel’s Inhumans will screen globally in IMAX theatres for a two-week period beginning Sept. 1, 2017. ABC will air those episodes with additional content and the rest of the eight-episode series beginning Sept. 29th.
