The Hulk is back!
Mark Ruffalo took to Twitter on Tuesday to share a video from the set of Thor: Ragnarok. He is sporting a full-on motion capture suit as he shoots scenes for his big green rage monster.
"It's a glamorous job but somebody's gotta do it," Ruffalo teases.
The Hulk will be looking a bit different when that motion capture suit is converted into the gamma-powered hero. Though the movie only be a variation of the Planet Hulk comic book story line, the Hulk will look very similar to the way he did on those pages. An armored shoulder has been promised along with other costume changes which will get fans excited to see the Hulk return to the big screen for the first time since Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Thor: Ragnarok is rumored to be a mixing of two fan favorite comic storylines, those being Ragnarok and Planet Hulk. Both stories are rather epic in scale, so even boiling them down to their base elements should provide for an action packed film.
In addition to the titular hero's actor Chris Hemsworth and Ruffalo, the cast will see Tom Hiddleston return as Loki, Sir Anthony Hopkins as Odin, and Idris Elba as Heimdall. The film will also include plenty of new additions, including Mark Ruffalo's Hulk, Jeff Goldblum's Grandmaster, Cate Blanchett's Hela, Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie, and Karl Urban's Skurge.
Thor: Ragnarok is on track for a November 3rd, 2017 release.
