Marvel Releases First Look At Civil War II: Choosing Sides #1

Marvel Comics has released a first look at Civil War II: Choosing Sides #1, the first issue of the new miniseries tie-in to Marvel’s epic event series, Civil War II #1. The new series follows several of the popular characters in the Marvel Universe as they are forced to side to choose between Team Captain Marvel and Team Iron Man. Each issue will feature three stories, each by a different creative team and focusing on a different character from the Marvel Universe.

Declan Shalvey (Moon Knight, Deadpool) pulls double duty as both writer and artist of a Nick Fury Jr. story running through all six issues of Civil War II: Choosing Sides. Will Fury ally come down in support of predictive justice, or will he defend the future from alteration? Civil War II: Choosing Sides #1 also features a Brandon Easton (Marvel’s Agent Carter) and Paul Davidson (Magneto) story starring Night Thrasher, and Chad Bowers and Chris Sims (X-Men ’92) and Leonardo Romero (Guardians of Infinity) presenting the return of Damage Control.

Future issues of Civil War II: Choosing Sides will feature even more fan favorite characters, including Jessica Jones, War Machine, Power Pack, and the Punisher. Civil War II: Choosing Sides #1 goes on sale in June.
