Volume 1 of The Immortal Iron Fist collects the first six issues of Ed Brubaker and Matt Fraction’s run. Originally published in October 2017, the title runs about 140 pages and it recommended for readers ages 12 and up. The trade’s art was done by David Aja and Travel Foreman, a celebrated team in the world of comics. You can read the product description for the first volume below:

“Collects Immortal Iron Fist #1-6. Many years ago, in the mystical city of Kun’ Lun, young Danny Rand stared at a suit behind glass — the garb of the “Immortal Iron Fist” — and knew that he was destined to wear it. But where did this costume come from? Why did it wait for Danny all those years like a shadow of his future? This history-spanning kung-fu epic will shatter every perception of what it means to be the Immortal Iron Fist!”

After you read the first volume, then you can carry on to the next trades for a price. There are four more volumes available of The Immortal Iron Fist, and Comixology has then all for sale. Each piece ranges from $9-15, so the deal may be worth spending some of your holiday bucks on.

In Marvel’s Iron Fist, Danny Rand returns to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting his world around him with his incredible kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist.
